Reims vs Strasbourg Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Fifth placed Reims host Strasbourg who are 13th in Friday's Ligue 1 fixture. The Red and Whites are three points behind the final Champions League place but have lost their last two games in Ligue 1. A 3-0 home defeat inflicted by PSG was followed by a 3-1 away loss at Rennes last weekend. They had earned seven points from their previous three league fixtures before the recent slump in form. Home results for Reims have been inconsistent this season. Three of their six home league matches have been won but the same number lost. Two of the last three home Ligue 1 fixtures has ended in defeat but it has been a tough set of games with Monaco and PSG being faced.

Strasbourg are also struggling for form at present. They are eight places and seven points behind their opponents. Le Racing have drawn each of their last three league games, two of them ending in score draws. They had been struggling before this run of draws though with three straight losses. The Blue-and-Whites have now gone six league games without a win. Their last league victory was a 1-0 win at Metz in September. Away league form has produced just that win at Metz with only one point coming from their other four Ligue 1 games on the road. Only two away league goals have been scored by Strasbourg this season, both scored after the 80th minute. With doubts over the form of Reims, we suggest a bet on under 2.5 goals in this match.
