Reims are on the brink of equaling an unwanted record. The last time they failed to win 16 straight league matches was back in 1978. They go into this match having last won a league game in November.

That was 15 matchdays ago. In that period they suffered nine defeats and also failed to score in nine of those 16 matches.

While they come here as favorites, Marseille are winless in the last two matches against Reims. Les Phoceens needed a late Mason Greenwood goal to secure a point in the reverse fixture, which ended 2-2.

For the better part of this season, they’ve looked like the most viable challengers to PSG for the title. In the past few weeks they’ve faded away though.
