A few weeks ago Real Madrid must have been thinking their La Liga title hopes were gone. Barcelona were way ahead of them but all of a sudden the league leaders have slipped and managed just one point from their last four league games. Real have won their last four and suddenly Barcelona's lead is just a single point over the two Madrid sides. A La Liga and Champions League double is a possiblity for both Madrid sides while Barcelona just have the league title to play for.  Both Barcelona and Atletico will finish their games this weekend before Real do. Barcelona are at La Coruna and Atletico travel to Athletic Bilbao. Real have fourth placed Villarreal at home who have their own European dreams facing Liverpool in the Europa League semi-finals and are in a good position to get into the Champions League next season. They may be one place  below Real in the table but trail them by 15 points, likely to be 18 after this game. Real are in great form at present with nine wins and a loss in their last ten home league games. They have their last seven league matches scoring 27 goals and conceding five. A tough task indeed then for Villarreal who are much stronger at home where they beat Real 1-0 earlier this season. Away from home it's a different story and last week they lost at relegation threatened Vallecano and have just five points from their last five away games. Everything points towards another convincing home win for Real Madrid and who knows it could be one that takes them to the top of La Liga.
