Real Madrid will look to move closer to securing their Champions League qualification this weekend when they welcome Real Valladolid to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu for a La Liga showdown on Sunday afternoon. The hosts are currently in second place in La Liga, with 56 points in 26 matches, 12 points behind Barcelona, and five clear of Athletico Madrid in third place. Their away form has been equally poor, with a record of nine losses and two wins on the road, and they enter this match having not won any of their last three matches on their travels. Valladolid has been outscored 30-11 in their 14-match winless run against this opposition and will need to cause the upset of the weekend if they are to come away with anything from this match
