Real Madrid start the weekend in third place in La Liga a point behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and only just behind Barcelona on goal difference. All they can do really is keep winning their games and hope the top two slip up in their final couple of matches. Real looked out of the title race a while back but with Barcelona dropping points, they got back into the title race with a run of ten straight league games and 34 goals. They have won 13 of their last 15 at home but those defeats to the top two look to have possibly cost them the title. Valencia are ninth in the table and won't be playing in European competition next season. They only have one point from the last two league games and only have one win in their last four away matches and had to rely on a late equalizer to grab a point at Getafe last weekend. Everything here points to a home win for Real Madrid, They've won their last four home league games in convincing fashion scoring 18 goals and can add a few more as they bid to keep their title hopes alive.
