Valencia scored early in the game and Sevilla thought they had shared the spoils as they equalized in the 86th minute only for the visitors to be awarded an injury time penalty. Sevilla can thank goalkeeper Bono for the draw as he pulled of a magnificent save to deny Valencia the win. The draw extended Sevilla unbeaten run to three matches under new manager Jorge Sampaoli. Sevilla are now also unbeaten in their last three away games with two wins and a draw.
