Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho isn't a massive fan of these pre-season games however fancy the title may be. He considered the International Champions Cup as not much more than training sessions and was just about right. United have had seven pre-season friendlies and had six wins and a loss to Barcelona. Most recently they beat Sampdoria 2-1 at Old Trafford with new signings Lindelof, Lukaku and Matic all in action. Real Madrid haven't had the greatest of pre-season warm-ups with two draws and two defeats but there's been no Ronaldo in those games but he's due back for this match. There will be lots of interest focussed on Gareth Bale who may possibly be on his way to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes. It'll be interesting to see how many players get on the pitch, especially with Mourinho likely to be more interested in Sunday's first Premier League game against West Ham. A difficult game to predict so the best tip looks to be to go for both teams to score.
