Real Madrid vs Granada Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga
by Steve Ashfield | in LaLiga Predictions
The top two in La Liga meet this weekend but there's no sign of Atletico Madrid or Barcelona. Instead, we have Real Madrid hosting newly promoted Granada. Real have made it to the top of La Liga despite an often shaky start to the season. Seven games have seen them win four and draw three and Real are the only club in La Liga not to have lost a league game this season. Midweek saw another nervous display as they had to fight back from 2-0 down at home to draw with Club Brugge. One reason why they are top of the table is the fact their fixture list hasn't been the most difficult. They drew at Atletico Madrid and won at Sevilla but home games have been against Real Valladolid, Osasuna and Levante, all placed tenth and below in the current league table. Madrid have only lost one of their last nine home league games but again not against stellar opposition. Keeping clean sheets isn't an easy task for them and Real have conceded in six of their last eight home league matches.
Granada are the surprise team of this La Liga season. They won promotion last season and find themselves second in the top flight just a point behind the league leaders. Seven games have seen them win four, draw two and suffer just one defeat against Sevilla in their opening game. A form guide for the past five league matches actually has them two points clear. Their best win of the season has been a 2-0 home win over Barcelona. Away form has seen them score ten goals in four games, including a dramatic 4-4 draw at Villarreal and 3-0 win at Espanyol with an overall record of two wins and two draws. This should be an open game and the tip is for both teams to score.

Our Real Madrid vs Granada Prediction
Real Madrid are top of the table but there are still plenty of problems for them to solve. They again looked shaky in midweek and their Champions League campaign isn't going well. They continue to concede home goals and it doesn't take a top team to get on the scoresheet in an away game against them. Granada have suprised plenty of people this season with their start to the new season. With just one loss (none in the last six league games) and ten away goals, the tip here is for both teams to score.
