Real Madrid will be out to keep their perfect start in the Spanish La Liga when they host Getafe on Saturday. The hosts top the standings after three rounds of play and sit five points above Getafe in 11th. Real Madrid have won their three opening fixtures of the season and are the only team left with a 100% record. They have racked up nine points and have a two-point cushion at the top. Carlo Ancelotti’s men will hope to maintain this rich start going into the international break. Madrid have dominated on both ends of the pitch. They have scored six goals while keeping two clean sheets and conceding only once. In their last match, Los Blancos defeated Celta Vigo 1-0 away from home. Madrid have played their opening three league matches away. This was due to renovations to their Santiago Bernabeu base. Madrid have won the last 14 matches they have been hosts against Getafe.

Getafe have stuttered in the early stages of the season. They however did win in their last match which should have them confident going into this Madrid derby. Jose Bordalas’ charges won 1-0 at home against Alaves with the result the perfect response to their 3-0 defeat away to Girona. They are now on four points, tied with two other teams. Geta Azulones have kept two clean sheets in their three matches. They will hope to frustrate their hosts as they seek their first derby win in three matches. Getafe have scored only one goal thus far.
