In an action-packed weekend of La Liga football, we will see Espanyol head to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to take on Real Madrid on Saturday afternoon in what could be a turning point in either side’s season. The hosts have seen their title hopes dim in the last couple of weeks as they come into this match nine points behind league leaders Barcelona who seem increasingly likely to lift the trophy at the end of the season. With their opponents not playing at their absolute best in their last few matches, the visitors will hope that they can capitalize on any mistakes afforded to them and possibly take something away from this one.
