Real Madrid vs Cádiz Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga
by Daniel Ngulu in LaLiga Predictions
Real Madrid have been on a shaky run and finally they were handed their first defeat in La Liga, away to Rayo Vallecano on Monday. They will be looking to bounce back when they host Cadiz on Thursday. The result of that loss is that Real Madrid have now dropped to second place, on 32 points, two behind leaders Barcelona. Cadiz on the other hand, are second from bottom, with 11 points. One area that has really troubled Real Madrid is defence, and it doesn’t help that their main man in attack, Karim Benzema is injured. The Spanish giants will be happy to welcome back Toni Kroos, who was suspended for the Rayo game, but Antonio Rudiger is out injured for this clash. In their last five matches, Real Madrid haven’t kept a clean sheet; they’ve conceded three goals twice in that period. Though they have scored in all their last 10 matches, they have just two clean sheets in that run.
Cadiz aren’t doing really well; they come into this game with just one win in their last seven matches. They’ve however lost just once in those seven matches – the 5-1 thrashing by Rayo Vallecano. The one area they will have to handle going into this game, is their attack; Cadiz haven’t scored in five of their last 10 matches, and they can change this stat, seeing that Real Madrid rarely keep clean sheets. In three of their last five matches, both teams have scored but away from home, Cadiz have managed no wins in the last three matches. In six away matches in La Liga this season, they have only won once – 1-0 at Real Valladolid, and they’ve failed to score in three of those six matches. Somehow, Cadiz have managed to hold off Real Madrid in their previous meetings; they are unbeaten in the last two and have only lost once to Real Madrid in the last five meetings.
