Real Madrid have had another impeccable season in La Liga, and will wrap it up with a home game against Real Betis. With just a loss in the league, Real have already won the championship, while Real Betis have secured the Conference League spot. Only Atletico Madrid got the better of Real Madrid in the league this season and Los Blancos are here seeking their 30th win. They are already on the longest unbeaten run seen in the league in recent years. Carlo Ancelotti’s charges haven't tasted defeat in 31 league matches since falling 3-1 to Atletico in September. They only failed to win in seven of the 31 league matches. Real Madrid will however be concerned at how it ended in their eight-goal thriller against Villarreal last time out. Leading 4-1 at half time, Real Madrid conceded three second half goals to see the clash end in a 4-4 draw. On a positive side, it was the fifth time in six league matches that they managed three or more goals. Meanwhile, they have four clean sheets in their last five league matches. It is more of the same at home where Real have won with clean sheets in six of their last seven league games.

In this Saturday clash, Real Betis will be eyeing their first win over Real Madrid in eight meetings. They gave good effort in the last two meetings, both which ended in draws, the most recent finishing 1-1. With all they can play for having been secured, this is well a dead rubber affair. Still, Real Betis will give it all for a first win at the Santiago Bernabeu since 2019. They didn’t have a great warmup for this game though, losing 2-0 at home to Real Sociedad. That defeat not only ended their six-game undefeated run, but also crushed their Europa League ambitions. Much is to blame for their four-game losing run in March, which is why they will have their first taste of the Conference League. Even in their low times, there’s some positives to hold. Real Betis have failed to score in just one of their last eight matches. In six of the said eight games, they scored more than a goal, and this will give them confidence as they take on the league’s best defence. Eight of their last 12 matches returned over three goals.
