Real Madrid have had an up and down season but it could yet end with them being crowned European champions for the third year in a row. They are out of the La Liga title race but won't want to finish behind rivals Atletico Madrid who are second and a place and four points above Real. The home side are in fantastic form at present and the 3-0 win at Juventus on Tuesday was their 11th win in their last 12 games in all competitions with 39 goals scored and as seen in Italy, Ronaldo is in top form again. At home, Real have won their last five league and cup games scoring 21 and hitting at least three in each of those matches.

Atletico had a good win over Sporting Lisbon on Thursday and should reach the last four of the Europa League. They are second in La Liga but nine points behind leaders Barcelona but would love to finish above Real. They have only lost two of their last 15 league and cup games and one of those was away to Barcelona. Atletico's away form has seen them lose on three occasions and they have lost their last two - that loss at Barcelona followed by defeat at Villarreal who are fifth in the table. With Real in such magnificent form at present and no need to be resting players before the second leg of their Champions League game, this looks like being a home win for Real.
