Real come into this final fixture a point ahead of Atletico Madrid, who travel to Villarreal. Only one point splits the two Madrid teams. If they finish level on points, Real will finish ahead of Atletico due to their head-to-head results. Real boosted their chances of finishing second with a 2-1 win at Sevilla on Saturday. Two goals from Rodrygo gave Los Blancos the win after going behind early in the game. That was their third win in the last four league matches. Home form has seen Real win 13 out of 18 La Liga games with only one loss. That was last month when being beaten by Villarreal. Since then, Los Vikingos have won four home league games with nine goals scored.

Athletic Bilbao head to Real still hoping they can get into the Conference League next season. It’s a tight battle with them only behind seventh placed Osasuna on head-to-head results.
