Reading are sixth in the Women's Super League but can go ahead of their opponents if beating Manchester United at home. They are only a point behind fourth placed United but that position is likely to be the highest they can finish this season as there's a 14 point gap to third placed Chelsea  Reading come into this game having lost their last two of their last three league games. Both of those games were away from home though and their home record is much better. Reading have won three of their six home league games, the two losses being to second placed Arsenal and an early season defeat by West Ham (currently eighth). They have won their last two home games with victories over Tottenham and Bristol City.

Manchester United are in their first season in the Women's Super League but despite having won six games have lost five. They are a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde side with five wins out of seven at home but one win in four on their travels. Their league position is most likely a false one because of their 11 games, seven have been at home. Three away games have been lost with their only win being at Tottenham. A double chance bet on Reading to win or draw this game is the suggested bet giving the poor away form of United.
