Reading are in third place but have their work cut out to get in the two automatic promotion places. They are six points behind Newcastle but virtually seven because of their massively inferior goal difference.  Home form is the reason for their high placing in the table with eight wins out of 12 and just one defeat. The last five home games have all resulted in victories and they will be confident of getting a sixth by defeating Fulham. Their opponents are eighth in the table four points adrift of the play-off places. They are in form too with no defeats in their last five games but it's a bit worrying that they have conceded seven goals in their last four matches. Reading are the team in form and can get another home win.
