Reading vs Cardiff Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by | in Championship Predictions
Reading are in fourth place in the Championship but nine points adrift of the automatic promotion spots, virtually ten because of a far inferior goal difference. The rest of the season therefore is probably just keeping between third and sixth and getting into the play-offs. They won 1-0 at home to Fulham and that got them back on track after league defeats to QPR and Derby and being knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United. Home form is strong with six wins from the last seven. Cardiff lost at Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday and are 16th in the table, eight points above the bottom three and 12 adrift of the play-off positions. They had won three league games in a row before losing on the south coast. Away form isn't impressive though with just one win in the last six on the road. That was at Bristol City who have lost their last eight league matches. This looks a tight game but Reading can get the win.
