Matcheek 29 in La Liga will get underway on Friday evening when Real Vallecano plays host to Osasuna, with both sides aiming to make a final push for a Conference League qualification berth. The hosts are currently in ninth place in La Liga with 37 points, eight points behind Real Betis, who are sixth and currently occupy the final Conference League qualification spot. Real Vallecano have hit a rough patch in their form, and after losing their last match 2-1 against Athletico Madrid, they have now gone eight consecutive matches without a win, including five draws and three losses. At home this season, Vallecano has been only marginally better than on the road, with a record of five wins, five draws, and four losses in 14 matches; however, they come into this match on a four-match winless streak at Estadio de Vallecas (D3 L1). Real Vallecano lost the reverse fixture 2-1 last September and will be hoping they can get their revenge in this one, with the added bonus of passing their opponents in league standings if they were to pick up all three points. 

Osasuna will be right up for this challenge since a win will propel them into seventh place overnight, above Athletic Bilbao, who have a tricky fixture against Real Sociedad later in the weekend. The visitors are currently one point and one position better off than their opponents on the La Liga table and will see this as a genuine opportunity to pressurize the sides scrapping for the Conference League qualification spots. Osasuna won their last match 2-1 against Elche, snapping up a five-match winless run. Over their last six matches in all competitions, Osasuna has won one, drawn three, and lost two, scoring just four goals and conceding five in that period. The visitors have been resilient but have found wins hard to come by in away matches this season, managing just three in 14 matches on the road, along with seven draws, and four losses. Osasuna are unbeaten in their last five encounters against this opponent (W4 D1), and, having outscored them 10-2 in that time, the visitors will definitely fancy their chances of a good result in this one.
