Rangers will look to rise from a bad start to their season when they host Servette in the Champions League. The two face off in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League on Tuesday. In their most recent outing, Servette drew 1-1 with Stade-Lausanne-Ouchy in the Swiss league. That was their fourth straight draw. In the last round of this competition, they defeated Genk through post match penalties after a 3-3 aggregate draw. Servette had a good run in preseason, winning all four matches and carried the momentum into the new season. However, after their opening win, the four matches that followed all ended in draws. They will heavily bank on their match fitness, having already played five times in the new season. Their goal-scoring run is also an area of inspiration, scoring more than a goal in three of the last five matches. Those three matches have also produced over 2.5 goals. Servette will however hope to defend better as they have no clean sheet in six. In half of their last six matches, they conceded more than a goal.
