Rangers - Celtic: Form Analysis
Unsurprisingly, given their dominance of the Scottish Premier League this season, both teams come into this game in good form. Rangers have lost just one of their last 11 games, winning the other ten, scoring 29 goals in the process and conceding just eight. Strangely, the Gers have conceded more than twice as many goals at Ibrox (12) than they have away from home (5), but they have also scored 11 more at home than away from home too. They are yet to draw a game at Ibrox this season and have drawn just one game in the 30 they have played so far. A recent home defeat to Motherwell will have stung Rangers heading into this fixture, especially since Celtic have won both the other two Old Firm games that have been played this season. Philip Leonard's team did bounce back from that loss, winning their last match 3-1 against Hibs going into what is the first of two of the most crucial Old Firm clashes in many years.
Celtic will take confidence from having beaten Rangers twice already this season, home and away, and the Bhoys have lost just three league games in the entire campaign. Their 74 goals scored is the most of all teams in the SPL but they have won 7, drawn 2 and lost one of their last ten games, including a recent 2-0 defeat on the road at Hearts. Since that loss, Celtic have recorded two strong wins, a 3-1 home win over St. Johnstone and then last weekend, they defeated Livingston 3-0 on the road. The Celts have scored 16 goals in their last five games, conceding five. Away from home they have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five games. Brendan Rodgers team knows a win here would be a huge three points, whereas a defeat, or a draw for Rangers hands the impetus in the title race very much to their rivals.

Rangers & Celtic Squad Analysis
Rangers don't have too many injury concerns for the game with Celtic at the weekend. Winger Oscar Cortes and striker Danilo will miss the game through injury, while experienced midfielder Ryan Jack is a doubt, but could feature. Left back Ridvan Yilmaz, who was injured on international duty with Turkey, is close to making a return although his ability to play will be determined with a late fitness test ahead of the game. Rangers defender James Tavernier has been an outstanding performer for the Gers for several seasons now and recently set a new British record for goals by a full-back. He has net 15 in the SPL this season from right back.
Celtic's two main injury worries could make a return for the game at Ibrox Park. Winger Luis Palma has made a good recovery from his muscle injury and has a chance of being able to perform in the game, most likely from the bench. Skipper Callum McGregor though has more positive news after he returned to training this week following an achilles strain. He should be fit enough to start the game from midfield. On loan Norwich City striker Adam Idah has made a big impression since joining Celtic in the winter transfer window, netting five goals in eight appearances for Celtic, as well as two assists.
