The Scottish League Cup will be up for grabs this weekend with the two most successful teams in Scottish football, Rangers and Celtic fighting it out at Hampden Park on Sunday. The two giants are locked in a Premiership battle where Celtic holds the advantage at the moment. Their league ambitions will be out to the side as the Glasgow giants go for the first piece of silverware this season. They are both on good runs coming into this game; Rangers are on eight straight wins ahead of this meeting and they have scored two or more in nine of their last 10 games. A 16-match unbeaten run will be great for their confidence going into this key game. The only team that stopped Rangers from winning in their last 14 matches was Celtic, as the two drew 2-2 in January. That result is one of the seven in their last 10 games that has produced over 2.5 goals. Each of their last four matches has produced over 2.5 goals; to warm up for this game, Rangers thrashed Livingston 3-0 away from home with James Tavernier scoring twice as he returned to scoring ways before Kemar Roofe sealed the win with a late goal.
