Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership but nine points behind leaders Celtic. Their Glasgow rivals play the day before this game and a win will all but give them the title. Rangers have won their last three league games and scored three times in each of them. That's an improvement in form from the poor run of two points from three games that gave Celtic the big advantage in the title race. Rangers have had some big battles with Aberdeen this season and their opponents have only lost one of the six games they have played against them including knocking them out of two cup competitions. Rangers are unbeaten in their last eight home league games since a loss to Aberdeen last December.

Aberdeen are third in the table and they need to keep that position to qualify for the Europa League. They currently have a three-point lead over Kilmarnock who are away to Celtic the day before this game. Aberdeen have won three of their last four league games, the other being a loss to the league leaders. Only one of their last 12 away league and cup games have been lost. A bet on under 2.5 goals is the suggested bet.
