QPR will be at home to welcome Watford for their next English Championship assignment. They come into the game sitting second from bottom in the standings while Watford are 10th. QPR are in a precarious position and need to start putting points on the board. Failure to do so, the former Premier League team will drop to the third tier. QPR, who haven’t won in seven outings, were bundled out of the FA Cup last time out. They lost 3-2 at home in the third round to Bournemouth.

Watford are faring much better than QPR and will be looking to take advantage of their host's struggles. Valerien Ismael’s men are angling for playoff qualification and a win here could take them to within a point of the top six. The Hornets have amassed 36 points thanks to nine wins and nine draws. Watford, who haven’t lost in three outings, did not suffer the same fate as QPR in the FA Cup. Playing at home to National League side Chesterfield, Watford won 2-1 to progress to the fourth round. This is the first time they have advanced to the fourth round of the Cup since their runner-up campaign five seasons ago. It will for sure give them momentum to conquer a team they defeated 4-0 in the reverse match.
