Southampton’s charge towards returning to the topflight is well on course. They however are 10 points below the automatic promotion slots. The Saints come into this game placed fourth and will be glad to stay in the top six. Nothing can change their top six placing for now but Southampton will want to close the gap. They are unbeaten in their last 14 matches, winning nine of the matches. In their most recent outing, Southampton blanked Blackburn Rovers 4-0. In their recent meetings with QPR, Southampton emerged winners in three straight. They have only lost once to QPR in the last five meetings. Away from home, Southampton haven't lost in five but four matches ended in draws.
