QPR vs Millwall Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Struggling Queens Park Rangers host London rivals Millwall in what is a crucial game for both teams. Rangers miserable form of late has seen them lose five of their last seven, picking up just two points from the 21 available in those games. Including their FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth, QPR have gone five home games without a win, losing all of the last four including a 1-2 loss to Watford last weekend. The Hoops sit in 23rd position in the Championship with just 21 points from their 27 games. Scoring goals has been a key problem for the team with just 22 scored (the second lowest tally in the division). On the positive side they have conceded 39 goals, that is just five more than second-placed Ipswich Town. Head coach Marti Cifuentes certainly has his hands full if he is to preseve QPR's Championship status this season.

Prior to last weekend, Millwall had been on a good run of form in the Championship, picking up three wins and two draws, conceding just one goal across those games. That had moved the Lions up the table away from the relegation zone into 16th, but they were tamed last weekend by Middlesbrough who came back from an early Joe Bryan goal to win 3-1 at The New Den. The visitors away form is considerably better than their home form this season - Millwall have lost just four on the road compared to seven at home - so they won't be too concerned facing a struggling QPR side. Goals will likely be at a premium in this game as only matches involving Stoke City and Bristol City have seen fewer goals per game this season than those involving these two teams.
