QPR - Ipswich Town: Form Analysis
QPR are yet again struggling. This almost saw them relegated last season as they finished just six points above the drop zone. Gareth Ainsworth's charges have won only one of their last four games and have lost three times. They began the season with an embarrassing 4-0 thumping away at Watford. The Hoops would however regroup to win on Match Day 2 in the league and won 2-1 away to Cardiff City. Euphoria from the win was short-lived though as four days later they would lose again. This time at home to Norwich City in the League Cup. The result saw them eliminated from the competition in the first round. The capital club has struggled on both ends of the pitch, failing to score in three of four games.
While QPR have struggled, Ipswich have dominated on their return to the Championship. The Blues have won their three matches across all competitions so far this season. This has bumped them to the summit of the league and also to the next round of the League Cup. Kieran McKenna's men began the season with a 2-1 win away to Sunderland. They would follow this up with a 2-0 success over Bristol Rovers in the Cup. In their last match, the Tractor Boys kept another clean sheet in subduing Stoke City 2-0. Ipswich are now one of only two teams to have won both their opening league fixtures with the other being Leicester City. The Suffolk-based club won promotion from League One last season by finishing second with 98 points. They lost the least number of matches (four) so it is no surprise they have proven hard to beat.

QPR & Ipswich Town Squad Analysis
Gareth Ainsworth made eight changes to the team that defeated Cardiff City, for the League Cup tie with Norwich. Aside from a loss, the R's saw an injury to goalkeeper Jordan Archer who was withdrawn at the restart. Ainsworth is expected to have the same squad that lined up against Cardiff. Sinclair Armstrong and Kenneth Paal will aim to have the same goal-scoring impact as they did in their last league outing.
Ipswich had no midweek distractions and therefore coach Kieran McKenna will have a fresh squad from which to pick from. Luke Woolfenden had a man-of-the-match performance in Ipswich's win over Stoke last time out. The defender scored and also marshaled the back four to keep a clean sheet. Together with forward Wes Burns the two were included in the Team of the Week. Kayden Jackson rose from the bench to score and could be in line to feature more prominently. Ipswich have had six different goal scorers for their last six goals which makes them a big threat for QPR.

Our QPR vs Ipswich Town Prediction
Ipswich have started the season in fine form which is contrary to QPR's start. A robust defense has been one of the main reasons for their fast start but their last two games have had under 2.5 goals. With QPR struggling to score goals, this could be a low-scoring affair. Our prediction for QPR v Ipswich Town is for the game to end in under 2.5 goals.
