QPR vs Burnley Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Daniel Ngulu in Championship Predictions
Burnley have a three-point advantage to defend in the Championship as action returns following the World Cup break. They will restart action with an away match at promotion-seeking Queens Park Rangers a side 10 points below them. Burnley are top of the standings with 41 points and QPR seventh on 31 ahead of this game. A run of five games without a win in the league have put QPR on the wrong end of the promotion slots and this is an area they really have to address. They have dropped 14 points from a possible 15 in the last five league matches, the only point they managed to secure being from the 0-0 draw with Norwich City. They have failed to score in four of the last five league matches, managing just one goal in that run, while they have conceded twice in three of those five games. With just one clean sheet in the five matches, QPR will need to work out well to handle the league leaders. Their home form has three losses in the last 10 league games and with three wins in the last five at home, they will bank more on this in their ambition to reap three points here.
Burnley are continually looking like a Premier League bound team; they’ve had a few stumbles here and there but generally, under Vincent Kompany they’ve done well. They have the best numbers in attack, having scored 40 goals in 21 matches; they have two losses in that period and have the clear advantage coming into this game. Burnley had registered four wins in five matches across all competitions when the league took a break and will be looking to continue in the same breath. Their scoring run should scare the hosts; in the last five matches, Burnley have scored two or more goals in each and the only downside is that they’ve managed just one clean sheet in the last five matches. Each of Burnley’s last five games has produced over 2.5 goals

Our QPR vs Burnley Prediction
Burnley take to this game a very strong run and will be hoping their rhythm picks up after the month-long break. They face a QPR side with a shaky run and the visitors will be outright favorites. QPR have failed to score in four of their last five matches in the league and we will back Burnley to win with a clean sheet here.
