A win for PSV over eighth placed Heerenveen will confirm them finishing second in the Dutch Eredvisie. The home side have a five point lead over third placed Ajax with only two league games remaining. Finishing second is so important as only the top two go into the 2023/24 Champions League. The title has already been won by Feyenoord but PSV come into this game in top form. They have won each of their last six league games with nine of the last ten won. Their last league loss was in January and they have since gone 14 games unbeaten. Home form is the best in the league with 14 wins, a draw and just one loss. That defeat was inflicted by AZ last November. Their next home game was drawn but since then PSV have won eight in a row with five clean sheets.

Heerenveen are also keen to get something from this game. They are in the final position that will take them into the Europa Conference League play-offs. However, they are only a point ahead of Waalwijk and current form isn't good. Only one of their last four league matches has ended in victory for them. Their last match saw them held to a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to relegation-threatened Excelsior. Nine goals have been conceded in their last four matches. They may well struggle against a prolific PSV attack. Six away league wins have been achieved by Heerenveen this season. One of the last three have been won on the road but six goals conceded in the last two. We go for PSV to get the win here and lead at both half and full time.
