PSG have already won the Ligue 1 title and their home match against Troyes will only be a formality. The two face off separated by 43 points as the league goes into Match Day 36. PSG are top with 79 points and Troyes 14th on 36 points. In the last two matches, PSG have drawn, and this will be their first home game after winning the title. In the last game, they came from behind against Strasbourg to lead 3-1 but conceded two late goals to see the game end 3-3. Troyes on their part are coming from a 3-0 win over former champions Lille, and will be looking to shock the new champions. That win came via three penalty goals, and Lille had two key men sent off in that game. They have three losses in the last five matches and have failed to score in two of the five matches but the win over Lille provided their first clean sheet in five games as well as the first time they scored more than a goal in that run. Troyes have seven losses in their last 10 away matches but in four of the last five away games, they’ve managed to score. Both sides have scored in three of their last five away matches. They are nine points above the relegation zone and there’s a big chance they will avoid outright relegation. However, they still need four points to move beyond the relegation playoff spot.
