2022/23 LIgue 1 winners PSG take on French Cup holders Toulouse in the Champions Trophy. PSG are well on their way to retaining their league table with a five point lead when the winter break arrived. The Parisians are unbeaten in their last eight games since a loss at Milan in the Champions League. That didn't stop them qualifying for the knockout stages behind Borussia Dortmund. In domestic football, PSG have won ten out of 12 games since their only league loss of the season at home to Nice in mid-September.  The Red and Blue's last game was a 3-1 home win over Metz. This game is being played on home soil and PSG have won eight of their last nine games with them scoring twice in all but one of those games.

Toulouse won the French Cup last season despite only finishing 13th in Ligue 1. It's been an even tougher time for them in the league this season and currently they only have two teams below them. They are in the relegation zone and two points from safety. Only two of their 17 league games this season have ended in victory with eight being drawn. That includes a 1-1 home draw with PSG in the early weeks of the season. Toulouse come into this game with only one win in their last eight games. Their two most recent wins have come in the Europa League where they finished second behind Liverpool to reach the knockout play-off round. They've played ten games against French sides since their last victory. We go for PSG to win this and lead at both half and full time.
