PSG continue to be in excellent form and top Ligue 1 by five points. They host Marseille who are fourth in the table but eight points behind their opponents. Midweek saw PSG win 5-0 away at Club Brugge in the Champions League with Mbappe scoring a second-half hat-trick. PSG have won their last five with 13 goals scored in just the last three. In their last 11 league and cup games, 10 have been won by the league leaders, the other being a home loss to Reims. That loss is the only one that PSG have had inflicted on them at home in 24 league matches. It's not just the number of goals that PSG are scoring which is impressive. They are becoming increasingly difficult to score goals against. Nine of their last 11 games in all competitions has seen them keep a clean sheet.

Marseille are fourth in the table but have only won four of their ten league games this season. Four others have been drawn with two defeats (the same number as PSG). Current form isn't great coming into this game. They won their last league game 2-0 at home to Strasbourg. That was totally expected as their opponents are bottom of the table and are yet to score a goal on their travels. That win ended a run of four league matches without a win. Three had been drawn but then they lost 3-1 at Amiens who are 13th in the league and that was their only win in their last four matches. Everything points to a PSG home win, go for them to do that and be ahead at both half and full time.
