PSG only won the league by 31 points in the end, they really must try harder next season!  Marseille ended way down the table in 13th place with 48 points, exactly half those earned by their opponents in this cup final.  Marseille have actually won this cup more times than anyone else with ten victories but they haven't won it since 1989. PSG will equal that record if as I fully expect them to, go on and win this final. PSG are the holders and ended the season in style with no losses in their last ten league games but had that massive disappointment when they lost to Manchester City in the quarter finals of the Champions League. Marseille won two of their last three league games but both were against sides either lower than them in the table or in poor form. They do play better away from home though, just three league home wins all season. Against PSG this season they lost both their games 2-1 and that's a possible scoreline here in this cup final. I fully expect PSG to complete the double with a win here.
