PSG welcomes Auxerre to the Parc des Princes for this match in the French Ligue 1. The home team are currently top of the table while the visitors are 15th with 13 points. PSG beat Lorient 2-1 in their last match to extend their winning to four matches in the league. They have now opened a five point lead over second placed Lens and will remain at the top during the World Cup break regardless of results in this round of matches. PSG are still the only unbeaten team in the league with 12 wins and two draws in their 14 matches. Their dominance in the league is evidenced by the fact that they have conceded the joint lowest number of goals but have scored nine goals more than any other team. PSG have won their last four home matches although all four wins have been by single goal margins.

Auxerre come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw away to Troyes which extended their unbeaten run to two. They have shown signs of improvement in recent matches with just one loss in their last four games. Auxerre will need to continue picking up points as they are just two points above the relegation zone.
