Preston North End vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Daniel Ngulu in FA Cup Predictions
The fourth round of the FA Cup is here and among the clashes lined up in this round will have Championship side Preston playing host to Tottenham Hotspur. Both teams are coming from wins and will hope to extend the same here. Preston have three wins in the last five matches. They eliminated Huddersfield Town in the last round with a 3-1 win and their 2-1 win over Birmingham City in their most recent game represents their continued improvement. They have three wins in five matches and just one clean sheet and they’ve failed to score in two of five games. Each of their last three matches has produced over 2.5 goals but they are poor at home, with four losses in five matches there. They’ve conceded two or more goals in three of their last five matches at home.
Tottenham Hotspur recovered from losses to Arsenal and Manchester City with a win over Fulham. Harry Kane scored the lone goal in that game. Coming into this clash, Spurs will look to build on their three wins in the last five matches rather than focus on the key losses in their top four race. They eliminated Portsmouth after a 1-0 win in the last round and they have three clean sheets in their last five matches. Spurs only failed to score in one of their last five matches – the 2-0 loss to Arsenal but they have conceded two or more goals in three of their last five away matches. Three of the North London side’s last five away matches have produced over 2.5 goals.

Our Preston North End vs Tottenham Prediction
Preston have a poor run at home and have been conceding a lot there too. Their last three matches have had over 2.5 goals scored and they have let in two or more goals in three of their last five home games. Spurs, on the other hand, had a much improved performance in the last game and will want to cash in on Preston’s poor home form. A win for Tottenham and over 2.5 goals in this clash can be a good pick for the Preston North End v Tottenham Hotspur game.
