Portugal vs Tunisia Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies

Portugal are the current European Champions after their victory in France two years ago. They didn't quite have it all their own way in their World Cup qualifying group despite winning eight games in a row and needed a home win over Switzerland to clinch their place in Russia. Over 90 minutes they had gone 14 games without defeat before a home loss in a friendly to the Netherlands. They won't have Cristiano Ronaldo in their team as he'll still be getting over the Champions League final but the Portuguese need to prove they aren't a one-man team. Their record in home friendlies is a bit of a worry though with defeats by Sweden and the Netherlands in the past year and being held to a draw by the USA.

Their opponents have a tough World Cup draw having to play England, Belgium and Panama. They qualified for the finals by winning their group by just a point from DR Congo and didn't lose any of their six games but limped home with two draws in the final three games. Tunisia are unbeaten in their last seven games but the last three have only seen two goals scored  Away form isn't great with one win in the last four and in friendlies they only have one win in their last nine. The FIFA World rankings have them at 14th  which probably shows how bad those rankings are. Portugal are ranked fourth in the world and even without Ronaldo can get the win but low stakes here.
