Before that they had drawn with Mexico, beaten Russia and hammered New Zealand 4-0. They really should have won that group match against Mexico having led twice in the game. The Mexicans have struggled since that opener against Portugal. They had to come from behind to get wins over New Zealand and Russia and then suffered a heavy defeat to Germany in the semi-final. Just how will they get over that?  A game where you shouldn't be staking too much with weakened sides likely to be played and Portugal will be without Ronaldo.
