They will be opening their campaign with a game against Ghana in Group H at the 974 Stadium in Doha on Thursday. Ronaldo was absent in the friendly win over Nigeria as he was ill, but he has indicated he is fully fit and well ahead of this game. With that, the manager will have a lot of options to pick from as the team currently has no fresh injury concerns. Diogo Jota didn’t travel with the team after sustaining an injury while at Liverpool. Bruno Fernandes scored twice against Nigeria and he will hope his creative partnership with Bernardo Silva continues to bear fruit in midfield.
