England have won their first two group games and have all but won the group. However, a loss here and Spain thrashing Scotland could see them failing to win the group even thought that might see them playing France in the last eight. The English side have been impressive in their wins over Scotland and Spain even if they were a bit lucky with that penalty that was so nearly given to the Spaniards. England are unbeaten in their last six games and won the last five with just one goal conceded.  Portugal have three points from their two games so far losing 2-0 to Spain and then beating Scotland 2-1. They still have a chance of qualification but will have to depend on Scotland getting a result against Spain which isn't that likely. Their last nine games have produced just two wins and they have failed to score in six of those matches. England can clinch the group with a win and go for them on a -1 handicap.
