European champions Portugal are second in their World Cup qualifying group so might need to go through the play-offs to reach Russia next year.  They had been scoring plenty of goals in recent games with 19 in four games and then went 2-0 up on Sweden in a home friendly only to eventually lose 3-2.  This is a warm-up for an away qualifier against Latvia on June 9th that they just can't afford to lose if wanting to catch Switzerland. The game against Cyprus should be a comfortable win against a country who won't be qualifying for next year's World Cup. There's no Cristiano Ronaldo though as he'll be too busy trying to win another Champions League with Real Madrid.. Cyprus only have four points from five games but are unbeaten in their last three games. However, Gibraltar, Kazakhstan and Estonia aren't quite on the levels of Portugal and all three games were at home. On their travels, Cyprus have lost their last four games and lost nine of their last ten away international friendlies (they managed a goalless draw in Jordan). Go for Portugal to get the win here on a -1 handicap.
