Second-placed Porto will be hoping for a dramatic final-day title win when they host fifth-placed Vitoria Guimaraes in the Primeira Liga on Saturday evening. The home side are two points behind the champions-elect, Benfica, while their opponents are on 53 points and have secured a Conference League qualifier spot. Porto’s hopes of retaining the title is out of their hands, and they will need Benfica to lose their match against bottom-club Santa Clara to stand a chance of getting by them. Benfica have an eleven-goal advantage over Porto. The hosts have been excellent for the most part this season. Following a 4-2 win over Famalicao in their last match, Porto are now on an eight-match winning streak and are unbeaten in their last 11. In 16 home games this season, Porto have only suffered two defeats while recording 14 wins. They are on a five-match winning streak at Estadio do Dragao and last tasted defeat at home back in February. Porto won the revere fixture 1-0 back in January, which took them to eight matches unbeaten against this opponent. Os Dragoes should come away with the win here and will hope that Santa Clara can do them a massive favour by beating Benfica. 

Meanwhile, Vitoria Guimaraes will be fairly content with their performance this season, currently five points and one spot above where they ended last term. They are two points above Arouca in sixth and seven clear of Chaves, who are the first team outside the Conference League qualifier spots. A win here will see the visitors head to the third qualifying round in the Conference League, while if they are overtaken by Arouca, they will enter the Conference League in the second qualifying round. The visitors won their last match, beating Gil Vicente 1-0, recording their fourth consecutive league win in a row. Vitoria Guimaraes have taken 20 of a possible 48 points on the road this season with a record of six wins, two draws, and eight losses. They come into this one following back-to-back wins over Maritimo and Rio Ave in their last two away matches. Os Conquistadores have been outscored 13-4 in their last eight matches against this opponent. With their opponents playing in hopes of retaining the title, Vitoria will find it extremely difficult to take anything from this match.
