Porto take on AS Roma in the play-off round of the Champions League, two big teams and one will end up in the Europa League. Porto finished third in the Portuguese league last season behind Benfica and Sporting Lisbon, They were in the group stages of the Champions League last season but finished third behind Chelsea and Dynamo Kiev with away form costing them dearly with just a point against the top two. They did beat Chelsea at home though.That took them into the Europa League but it didn't last long losing 3-0 on aggregate to Borussia Dortmund in the last 32. Roma were also in the group stages of the Champions League last season and managed to finish second behind Barcelona despite only winning one game and conceding 13 goals in three away matches. Their run ended with defeat by Real Madrid in the last sixteen losing both legs 2-0. Their away form is a worry and Porto can get the home win here to set up a fascinating second leg.
