FC Porto are looking to come back from their disappointing loss to Liverpool in the Champions League. They will be hosting Pacos Ferreira who are also looking to get back to winning ways. As it stands, Porto are second in the league table with 17 points, four below leaders Benfica, while Pacos are further down, in eighth place with nine points. Porto were handed a 5-1 drubbing by Liverpool in their last game but here they return to familiar grounds. Defensively, they should be worried, having managed just two clean sheets in the last five, and they will be glad to be playing at home here. Porto are unbeaten in their last 18 league matches at home and going to this one, they have four straight clean sheets at home. In the last six home matches in the league, Porto have scored two or more goals and they have four wins in five matches against Pacos.

Pacos are coming from a 2-2 draw with Belenenses; they will blame themselves for failing to win it, after leading 2-0 as early as the 20th minute. That result denied them a first win in four; they are now winless in that run, with three draws and a loss. They recently got dumped out of the Portuguese League Cup and followed up with the Belenenses draw. In those two matches, Pacos have conceded two goals in each while in the league, they have conceded two or more goals in five of their last 10 games. They only have one clean sheet in the last five away matches in the league.
