Round 24 of the Portuguese Primeira Liga will have title-chasing Porto host struggling Estoril at the Estadio do Dragao on Friday. Porto are second in the standings with 54 points, eight adrift of leaders Benfica while Estoril are in 15th place with 22 points, six above the relegation zone. Porto beat Chaves 3-1 last time out to end a two-game losing skid and will want to keep this going with a crucial Champions League return match against Inter coming up next week. After going six matches without conceding a goal, Porto have been breached four times in their last five matches which has resulted in three of those matches seeing at least over 2.5 goals scored.

Estoril have won just two matches in 2023 and have lost eight of their 10 matches this year. They come into this match having lost four straight games. Their lack of goals in particular has aided largely in their struggles as they have managed only five goals this year. Coming up against a strong team defensively like Porto could see their search for goals extended into another match week. Despite all these, they have fared a bit better in defence where they have conceded more than one goal a match just four times.
