Seventh-placed Juventude will travel to take on Ponte Preta, who are in 13th place in the Brasileiro Serie B, on Wednesday. After suffering relegation in the 2022 season, Juventude have struggled to find their rhythm in Serie B this year. They are currently on 26 points after 17 matches and five points behind Vitoria in the fourth and final promotion spot. The visitors held on to a 1-1 draw against ABC in their last match after going a goal down in the first half. With that result, Juventude extended their unbeaten league run to four matches, including two draws and two losses. The last time these sides met was back in 2020, and Juventude won that match 2-1, and they will be heavily fancied to win this one as well.

Having only beaten this opponent once in their last five encounters,  Ponte Preta are likely to struggle to take anything from this match.
