Poland vs Germany Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies
by Daniel Ngulu in Football Predictions
Germany will head to Poland for their next friendly game after an enthralling 3-3 draw with Ukraine. This will be the 10th meeting between Germany and Poland and the latter has won only once. They will seek to win here and boost their confidence going into their Group E Euro qualifier with Moldova next week. The Red and Whites won their last match, a 1-0 success over Albania to end a three-match losing run. Fernando Santos took over the head coach’s duties after last year’s World Cup and in his first match lost 3-1 to the Czech Republic. He has a strong squad at his disposal with captain and all-time scorer Robert Lewandowski the highlight. Defenders Matty Cash and Arkadiusz Reca will however be expected to miss here due to injury.
Germany will host next year’s Euro tournament so as hosts they are not expected to play qualifiers. They however are using this time to play friendly matches to help them prepare for the tournament. Earlier in the week they drew with Ukraine and after this match, play Colombia next. Die Mannschaft haven’t won in their last two matches as in the last transfer window, they lost 3-2 to Belgium. In both matches, they have conceded three goals and this is something that head coach Hansi Flick will look to address here. Germany were forced to come back from 3-1 down against Ukraine with captain Joshua Kimmich converting a stoppage-time penalty for the draw. Niclas Fullkrug scored the game’s opener while Kai Haverts rose off the bench to grab the second. On account of his goal-scoring exploits, Havertz could be given the nod to start here. Jamal Musiala as well as he was a spark off the bench.
