Cardiff City travel south to face Plymouth Argyle with the Welsh side currently occupying 10th spot in the Championship. However, such is the fierce competition in the division this season, The Bluebirds are just three points outside the playoff places and just six points separate them from 19th placed Plymouth. Defensively, the Welsh team are pretty solid, conceding just 36 goals so far this season, but they have struggled for goals, netting just 34 in their 27 games. The fact that Aaron Ramsey has played just six games this season for Cardiff (netting three goals) may well be a factor in their lack of output in front of goal. Their away form is somewhat patchy though as they have won just two of their last five on the road, against 22nd placed Sheffield Wednesday and 23rd place QPR, both by 2-1 scorelines.

That may well be pleasant news for Plymouth Argyle fans, who have seen their favourites draw four of their last five games to sit on 30 points. The home form for Argyle is not an issue. They have picked up 23 of their 27 points at home and have the fourth best home record in the division and with 30 goals, only Ipswich have scored more in front of their home fans (32). Plymouth's issues have been on the road, where they have not won all season long and have amassed four draws and seven defeats in their 11 away games. Scoting just seven goals. However, with this game being at Home Park, manager Ian Foster will be hoping his freescoring Pilgrims can pick up another vital three points in their fight against relegation.
