Academica Lobito will be at home against Dreams FC on Monday seeking their first win in Group C of the CAF Confederations Cup. After two rounds of play, Dreams are second in this group while Academica are bottom. Academica have lost both their matches in this group and each one has seen them concede three times. They began the competition with a 3-0 loss away to Rivers United before a 3-1 thrashing at home by Club Africain. The Angolan side had won back-to-back matches in the domestic first division before beginning their group-stage campaign. Academica are in their debut season in the Confederations Cup and had gone unbeaten in the qualifying rounds.

Dreams FC won last time out in Group C and they will want to keep that momentum going. The Ghanaian side defeated Rivers United 2-1 to make the perfect response to their 2-0 loss to Club Africain on matchday one. Dreams had lost back-to-back matches before their matchday two victory. Monday’s visitors have fared slightly better than Academica in recent matches and have won three of their last five games. They too are making their debut in this competition and have lost just once in their six fixtures starting from the preliminary stages. They have won three times though all three have come with them as the home team.
