Perugia are rock bottom of Italy's Serie B. They host Venezia who are 15th but in excellent form at present.  The home side have only won three league games this season and lost 10. Just 12 goals have been scored and they are in deep relegation trouble. They are four points away from the play-out positions and six from total safety. Their last three league fixtures have failed to produce a victory with only two points earned. Home form has improved a bit of late. The last two have produced four points but they've still only won two out of eight at home in Serie B with just five goals scored.

It was looking a bit grim for Venezia a few weeks ago. They have turned their season around though with 10 points from their last four league games. That's taken them out of the relegation places and up to 15th in Serie B. They are now six points clear of their opponents and out of the relegation play-out positions on goal difference. A form guide for the last five Serie B league games has them top of the table and they have a good chance here of getting another three points. Away form isn't that bad with three wins, three draws and only two defeats. Only nine goals have been conceded by them in their eight away league fixtures. Four points have been earned from the last two on the road with one loss in the last five. Back them to get an away win here.
