Peru need to get in some form because they have a tough Copa America draw to contend with. Their group sees them facing Brazil, Ecuador and Haiti, two of those games are going to be difficult for Peru to win. It's not been a great year for the Peruvians with a poor start to their World Cup campaign with four defeats in their first six games and they won't be making too many plans for Russia in 2018. They have no wins in their last three internationals and just one win in the last eight. Peru are a decent side at home though with just one loss in the last one defeat in the last six. They should make that one in seven as they host Trinidad and Tobago in this friendly. Peru are only seven places ahead of their opponents in the latest FIFA world rankings who finished above the USA in their latest World Cup qualifying group and at present might be hopeful of going to Russia in a couple of years time. Peru away is a bit of a step up to recent opponents aside from a 0-0 home draw with the USA. They could only draw 2-2 away at Grenada who are ranked 157th. This won't be an easy game for Peru and the price isn't a great one considering but they can get a home win here.
