Peru vs Paraguay Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup

Peru have lost both of their qualifying games so far and it's beginning to look as if their chances of reaching the 2018 World Cup could disappear by the end of the year. So far they have lost 2-0 away to Colombia and then went down to a 4-3 home defeat to Chile. Now they host an unbeaten Paraguay side knowing their fourth fixture is away to Brazil. They need to start getting some points on the table but that's easier said than done. So far they have conceded six goals in two games but actually led Chile 2-1 in their last game before being blown away by Vargas and Sanchez. They haven't qualified for the World Cup finals since 1982 and it may be until 40 years later in 2022 before they grace the final stages again. It's all a bit disappointing after their run to the semi-finals of the Copa America. Paraguay also made the last four in that tournament before being hammered 6-1 by Argentina and then lost the third place play-off to Peru. Recent months have seen Paraguay in much better form than their opponents here. An away win in  Venezuela and a home draw with Argentina make them the form team here. Peru must come out fighting though and that's why I fear them just a little bit but think Paraguay can keep their good start going by earning at least a point.
